Deborah 5 months ago	Note that, even after removing the battery and the motherboard, the screen still shows a display. For those of us with a frozen display on a Kindle 4, the standard cellphone "fix" of popping and replacing the battery will not work on this model.
TC 6 months ago	Always nice to know what's ahead on a do it yourself venture. Other than reapplying adhesive, I think I can replace a dead battery now.
