Order individual keys for your MacBook 13" keyboard. These keys are for the older plastic MacBooks with model number A1181. (Keys include white scissor mechanism) (For keys for the newer model keyboards, click here. ) Choose your color keyboard from the drop down box. All keys are currently available except the black and white delete key, the black and white space bar, the black command key, the black and white "A" and "S" keys, the white Santa Rosa "i", and the black and white arrow keys.
Note: There are two versions of keyboards. Some have white plastic scissor mechanisms as pictured above, and some have metal scissor mechanisms. We currently do not carry the metal mechanism type keys. Look under your keys to determine which you have.
Please also note that some international keyboards are different from US keyboards. These are US keyboard keys. Most of the letter keys are the same, but in some countries shift keys, return keys, etc... are slightly different. Compatibility with international keyboards is not guaranteed. Shipping charges for product returns due to incompatibility with international keyboards will be your responsibility.
The original Core Duo and Core 2 Duo models use a slightly different scissor mechanism than the Santa Rosa models. Choose your model type below. Note that the Santa Rosa models DO NOT have the apple symbol on the command key (the key next to the space bar) while the original models do.
To order keys, select the keys you need below or type them into the box on the right. Then in the quantity box, make sure the total number of keys you are wanting to purchase is selected. The keys are $8.95 each. So, if you need the "b" key and the "c" key, in the box you would type in " b, c" and in the quantity box you would select 2.
