These are individual keys for the older (2006-2009) all plastic MacBooks with model number A1181 printed on the bottom. (This product is for the keycap and the white scissor mechanism. It does not include the rubber cup under the key.)
All keys are currently available except the black and white delete key, the black and white space bar, the black command key, the black and white "A" and "S" keys, the white Santa Rosa "i", and the black and white arrow keys.
The original Core Duo and Core 2 Duo models use a slightly different scissor mechanism than the Santa Rosa models. Choose your model type below. Note that the Santa Rosa models DO NOT have the apple symbol on the command key (the key next to the space bar) while the original models do.
Please note, there are two versions of keyboards. Some have white plastic scissor mechanisms as pictured above, and some have metal scissor mechanisms. We currently do not carry the metal mechanism type keys. Look under your keys to determine which you have.
These keys are for English/US layout keyboards and keys. These keys may not be compatible with International keyboards. Most of the letter keys are the same, but in some countries shift keys, return keys, etc... are slightly different. Compatibility with international keyboards is not guaranteed. Shipping charges for product returns due to incompatibility with international keyboards will be your responsibility.
Ordering Instructions
To order keys, select the keys you need below or type them into the box on the right. Then in the quantity box, make sure the total number of keys you are wanting to purchase is selected. The keys are $3.75-$4.95 each. So, if you need the "b" key and the "c" key, in the box you would type in " b, c" and in the quantity box you would select 2.
Submit your device's serial number or model number to check for compatibility using our built-in system. These devices will be saved for future visits as well.
