Want is my Processor Speed?

The processor speed is how fast your laptop is denoted in either MHZ or GHZ. If you are unsure of the speed of your unit, then there are several places your can locate this number. If you have your original box, the number will be written in the same area as the serial number and barcode (usually on the side of the box in a white square) If you do not have the original box, there are still ways to determine the speed of your unit.

If you can boot your unit in OS9, go to the apple menu (on the top left side of the screen) hold it down and select Apple System Profiler. The MHZ speed will be listed on the first screen. In OSX, go to the Apple menu and select About this Mac. The MHZ speed will be listed in the window that pops up.
