Want is my Processor Speed?
The processor speed is how fast your laptop is denoted in either MHZ or GHZ. If you are unsure of the speed of your unit, then there are several places your can locate this number. If you have your original box, the number will be written in the same area as the serial number and barcode (usually on the side of the box in a white square) If you do not have the original box, there are still ways to determine the speed of your unit.
If you can boot your unit in OS9, go to the apple menu (on the top left side of the screen) hold it down and select Apple System Profiler. The MHZ speed will be listed on the first screen. In OSX, go to the Apple menu and select About this Mac. The MHZ speed will be listed in the window that pops up.

Flip the unit over, and on the bottom of the unit, the speed will be written above the serial #. This number will be either 233/250/266/292/300/333 or 400
POWERBOOK G4 Titanium
Flip the unit over, remove the battery, and the speed will be written inside the battery bay on the side of the casing. Alternatively, you can flip back your keyboard, and the speed will be written on the ram slot on the beige plastic piece. This number will be 400/500/550/667/800/867 or 1GHZ
White Ice IBOOK
Flip back the keyboard and the speed will be written on a piece of paper on the trackpad plastic. Alternatively, you can remove the ram and the speed will be written on the logic board. This number will be 500/600/700/800/900 or 1GHZ
Flip back the keyboard, remove the ram, and the speed will be written on the logic board. This number will be 300/333/366/ or 466mhz
