Ethernet port problem

Hi everybody. I am the owner of a G3 Lombard. For the past 6 months or so the ethernet port on it has become increasingly touchy. For a while I couldn't get a connection unless I gently pressed upwards on the chord into the jack. It's gotten so bad now that I have to physically pull the chord upwards (with a lot of force) presumably to get the chord to touch the right contact. Anybody else have a problem like this? Help...?

You have two options, try to solder the ethernet port on to have a tighter connection, or the better option, replace your logic board.
