I have tried to up grade my Lombard to Mac OS 10.2, but the computer keeps freezing. I have 512mb ram. Can all Lombards be upgraded to 10.2? I have the 400mhz model. Any Suggestions on what the problem might be!!!!! I was told to take out the top ram card and try to install, but same problem with installing 10.2 |

Some of the 400mhz processors don't take to installing OSX. Removing the top ram chip is one fix sometimes...other than that, installing a 64MB chip in the bottom slot is also a possible fix. If those don't work, then you probably have a 400mhz Revision 2.2 card, and those are known to have issues installing OSX. -Bradley POWERBOOKMEDIC.COM |

I have a Lombard 333mhz and it runs fine with 10.2. I hear that Lombards have memory issues if you have over 356(or whatever the next step up from 256mb is) with Panther and Jaguar. |
