The speaker will not work for the ipod app and randomly for text alerts.
The ringer, speaker phone, and other sounds will play thru the speaker. The ear bud jack functions, though sometimes you have to unplug and replug.
The Apple store said I needed a whole replacement since water damage is not covered by the warranty. 200 bucks, the phone was about 3 months old. This was 1.5 years ago. Though it was a quick dunk the red moisture alerts were activated. Just wondering if this could be a hardware problem I can fix with a replacement part rather than the 200 dollar replacement.
