2009.03.21. How do I create a macro, using OS 10.5.6, say for opening the HD then Apps, then iWork, with one key stroke? dsso.
[Hope I haven't broken the rules in my naivety! This doesn't only apply to MacBookPro of course. My username appears as dsso@tsn.cc, which is an out of date address. I don't seem to be able to change it in my profile to just dsso, as I would like. When I try to modify it in profile edit the box disappears, even though I have re-entered my P/W. I can't find where to go to get help with this. My current email address is dnsf@bigpond.com.]

You can do that with Applescript. Look up some tutorials online. It wouldn't be too difficult.
