Hi,
For future references, I just wanted to know if the current 2.5 and 2.6GHz Core2Duo Macbook pro logic boards are compatible with the older Core duo and first generation Core2Duo logicboards?

They are not. The new ones are Santa Rosa or Penryn models and have different connections.

The casing is different so the screw holes won't line up properly.
