Bought a Powerbook g4 (1Ghz superdrive) and it is beginning to get a little quirky......eg. programs are slow, sometimes freezing etc....what i need is a good system works program but I've been warned about Norton products. Any good ideas out there on reasonable alternatives? Also does anyone know of any good anti parasite/spyware programs to completely get my little fella running smoothly?

TechTool is a good app to run on your system to check overall health. Other than that, if your system is extremely quirky and a restart doesn't help, then you may think about reinstalling the operating system (depending on how bad it really is.)
