when did it stop working? did the powerbook get dropped or anything. From what you are describing it is either going to be the display cable going to the LCD or a problem with the LCD itself since it works on an external monitor.

It will be hard to diagnose if its a LCD or display cable problem without replacement parts. If it does work with an external monitor, it is most likely not a logic board problem unless its just the display cable interface.



We do sell the display cable if you want to do the testing yourself. It is not currently on the website, but you can give us a call at 1-866-726-3342 and order it over the phone.


I would however recommend sending in the unit to us for repair so we can try all the possibilities instead of wasting your money on a display cable or LCD that may not be the problem.
