You should be able to erase and restore from iTunes. If you can not, then you will not be able to do anything else you have the computer the device was originally synced to.

I have a ipod touch. It got disabled simply because i have forgotten my password. I do not have the computer it was originally synced too. So when i connect it to itunes it would not do anything because its password protected. I have tried to hold down home & Power buttons. Still don’t reset. I have tried everything. Can you help me out? Do you know how i can reset my ipod so i can use it again? Once again i do not have the original computer it was synced to. I do not know what to do. Im stuck with a disabled ipod. Waste of money. I have tried every video on youtube.
It wont let me even go to the home page.

@ Jocris – I’d first try to restore, and if that doesn’t fix the issue then you’ll likely need to replace your logic board.
