Shipping cost depends on the carrier you select. I could not estimate you shipping costs to get the logic board to us.

We may have some, but it depends on your model. I'd recommend doing a part request on our site.

It really depends. It could be the top case or any number of internal components. The logic board is a possibility, but with water damage, a professional diagnosis is the way to go.

My Macbook Pro 17" will not fully boot. I get no picture on the screen, no power on the keyboard and a faint light where you push to open it up. I dont know if its the logic board and don't know if you have experience with sort of problem before.

If you've replaced the magsafe board already, then the problem likely is the logic board.

I'm not entirely sure that it's my logic board, but when i took it into the apple store they said "that's most likely what the problem is." Basically, the unit will only charge for a period of time, then go to battery power. If you unplug the power cord from the wall, then plug it back in, it will begin charging again, but for only a short period of time - and less time than before. You can repeat this process ad nauseum, with the charge period shorter each time. It's weird, i know.

I had the plug (where the magnetic cord attaches) replaced, as well as the cord, so that's not the problem. Does this sound like a logic board issue to you?

Thanks,

Josh
