Powerbook Medic 11 years ago	@Danny - you'll have to take off the back case and see what is broken. If it is just the external button you'll need a new back case. If the physical button on the logic board is broken, you'll have to replace that.

Chelsey 11 years ago	My A1137 registers in my computer, but every time I try to restore it, it still tells me it's in recovery mode and won't work. I tried to reset it, still nothing. Is there anything else I can do?

Powerbook Medic 12 years ago	@juan - i would try a new cable first. 3rd party cables can cause trouble.. so I would try to use an Apple one if possible. Besides that there may be a short in your dock connector which would require a new logic board.

Powerbook Medic 12 years ago	@tej - if the screen comes on and you just can't control it, you may just need the clickwheel assembly replaced. If it isn't turning on, it could be a more severe issue such as the logic board.
