My external speaker isn't working for the ringer or things like youtube. I recently dismantled the phone to try to repair the power button with no luck. Any ideas where I went wrong in the reassembly? Everything else works great. can I purchase this piece from you to Canada?

This video is perfect. My headphones wouldn't stay in the headphone jack and the music would cut out and/or stop playing. I replaced the Flex cable, now the headphones click in nicely, just like it new! THANKS for taking the time to post this video.

@saleem - you can view the parts we have in the list to the right. If you don't see the part you need, it may be part of something else.

I think my issue is I actually don't know where the microphone is. I saw the hole in the casing, and I think I just randomly placed the cover in there, although I couldn't tell how to orient it because it didn't seem like the cover was actually covering anything.

@RJ - the microphone cover just fits over the microphone on the board and there is an open side to the cover that faces the hole in the casing. The important thing is to position the hole correctly or sound will not be able to reach the microphone.

This video was extremely helpful, however I can't quite see where the microphone cover is supposed to go and it just fell out when I was removing the motherboard. I am having a problem with my microphone and figured I must have put the cover on wrong.

@loky - the headphone jack is part of the motherboard flex cable. You can see it in the part list to the right.

I dropped my phone while plugged in and charging. The female usb is now loose. Is it practical to repair this without replacing the motherboard? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
