So I dropped my phone in the toilet. It went dead after i pulled it out of the toilet. I removed the back glass and pulled the battery. After this I put 4 desicant packs around the phone and put it in a tuperware bowl. after i got home i put it in a smaller container with rice.
So my question is after staying in the rice for 2 or more days will it work again? I am doing this in hopes of pulling the moisture out. let me know.

The rice trick is not a guarantee by any means. It just really helps get the moisture out faster to avoid corrosion. You really won't know until you put it back together and test it out.

Well something worked. I pulled it out of the rice and cleaned the entire phone with an alcohol solution and she works great. Maybe better since everything has been cleaned up with the alcohol.
