 Post subject: New Optical Drive And No Pic...

Actually it's a used superdrive I installed and no pic on screen?? If I open it up and disconnect it works fine....hook up drive and I get a chime but screen stays black...?? :?:

Strange. It may be a short in the drive or the optical drive cable causing it to short out other parts of the machine.
