Hi..
okay...new power adapter....computer runs but doesn't charge.
Since it runs, the power input/sound board MUST be okay.
Got a battery charger and charged both batteries overnight.
They charged and the computer keeps them at a given level IF plugged in. They seem to discharge normally. So, batteries okay.
That pretty much leaves the Power management card. right????

That's correct. Replacing the Power / Charger board should fix the battery charging problems. Let me know if you have any other questions
