Post subject: Powerbook to CD Writer Compatibility
PostPosted: Tue Aug 26, 2003 12:42 pm
:?

I have a G3 Powerbook and want to buy a CD Writer which is compatible. I recently bought a USB bus port so I can download images from my digital camera.

Can anyone recommend a good CD Writer which is compatible with my powerbook.

I have been considering an Iomega 48x24x48 but the packaging says I must have "G4 or G3 (blue and white G3 only) or iMacâ„¢ computer with USB 1.1 or 2.0 connection" which seems to suggest it is not compatible with a powerbook.

Any helpful suggestions would be much appreciated. THANKS

Basically and USB writer works about the same if you get a known brand. If you have a lombard or pismo we sell internal CDRW drives that will go into your expansion bay.

Hi, I am looking for a Powerbook G3 with firewire to buy. If you have one with a dead power supply or hard drive and you are looking to sell it I will buy it. I will also buy a fully working powerbook. But it must have firewire.
Thanks,
-Mark
