The laptop was running at 1920 x 1200, Model A1229 so I ordered SKU12296.
When i replace the screen, the computer boots until the apple logo, after 20 sec the wheel stops spinning. The apple logo seems to be to big on the screen, looks like it is running on 800x600. Then the computer freezes. Zapped the PRAM a couple of times, pressed the powerbutton for 20 sec without the battery. Nothing works. When I place the old screen back, it all works again.
Any suggestions?

if the original screen still works, it is probably a defective LCD. I'd setup an RMA and we can get that one tested and a replacement sent.
