PowerBook Pro (A1212 ) will not eject CDs or DVDs. Replaced the drive, but problem persists. Seems to be held up by the gasket. Any way to replace that without replacing the entire $300 upper case?

You can try to bend it, but replacing the case is the only sure way to fix it.
