Hi. My hard disk in my A1150 1.83ghz macbook pro just crashed and I'm in a rush to install a new one. I purchased a 320gb Seagate 7200.3 HD with SATA 3.0gb/s and I would like to make sure that this is going to work in my machine. From what I understand the SATA 2 is backwards compatible but if I could just verify I'd feel a whole lot better. Thanks

We've seen some incompatibility problems with SATA II drives, so i would be weary. Apple has released an EFI firmware update to resolve some problems, so I'd make sure you are up to date on that.
