A few days back the replacement airport cable assembly for my wife's 15" MBP arrived, and I set out to replace the old one today.
However, the cable assembly sent by PowerbookMedic is not quite identical. It has 3 antenna cables, instead of the 2 in our Core Duo MBP, next to the expected black and grey wires there is a blue wire is well.
Can I still use this assembly, and if so, what cables do I attach where?

For those coming across this thread: the answer just given to me by 'Neil' on the powerbookmedic.com live support is that attaching only the black and grey cables will do, and their relative positions don't matter.

Probably doesn't matter but according the Apple Manuals the B(L)ack goes left, G(R)ey goes right. That's how your supposed to remember it. BTW, by default the Blue goes in the middle.
