Pismo G3 won't boot on OS X

Tried all key combinations on boot, "sorry,no boot". Only the "T" showed signs of normal operation. Tried an OS 9 c.d. for boot, it booted normal, I couldn't do much since all my files are OS X. Suspecting it was the hard drive or OS X I replaced the drive with a new one, tried to boot from CD, no boot. Is there anything wrong :?:

have you tried using the option key during boot with your OS X cd in the drive?
