 Post subject: Ipod sad face Icon

I have a few Ipods that I have replaced the HD on 5th gen video and a 4th gen, I get an apple on the screen, I try to resort and reboot but nothing, any ideas??

That's usually an indication of a bad hard drive. I'd start by replacing the drive.
