5G locking with iTunes 7.5

Help! Loaded the new 7.5 update, and now my iPod Video 30G locks up when updating. Able to unlock it by going to another computer w/out update. Tried to replace 7.5 with an older version, but 7.5 doesn't "want" to be replaced (a little Hal-ish if you ask me!). Any suggestions? Thanks, Gary

Unfortunately, with iTunes being so integrated with the OS, downgrading can be tricky and we can't be held responsible for any damage. You can try to rename the application to iTunesNew and then run the install if you have problems and you'll have both versions at the same time.
