i have disassembled my powerbook 12" 867mhz and i've changed the superdrive. After re-assembling the fan go on when i switch on the computer, run constantly until i shut down the powerbook. I have no idea...maybe is a logic board failure?

We've seen this issue several times, and it could be a few things. You need to go back into the unit and reseat the fan and logic board, and make sure the heat sinc makes good contact with the processor. If that doesn't work, you need to put thermal paste on heat sinc where it contacts the processor. One of these tricks should fix you up.

Thanks very much for your advice. I try this way before replace the entire logic board.
The strange thing is that the fun starts at the touch of the power botton, before the startup of the operating system...

Try some thermal paste, the odds are good it will fix your problem.

it does sound like it is going to be a bad logic board.
