14" iBook G3 Won't Run Off Battery

I had to repair my daughter's iBook, which meant that I had to tear it down quite a ways. I did well and actually got it back together. Only one problem: the iBook will not run off of battery. It indicates that the battery is charged but goes dead the moment that you disconnect the power. The test lights on the battery also indicate that the battery is charged.

Any ideas?

No one to call. I did the repair myself. I went well except that now it won't run on battery. I was hoping that the cause was something simple like replacing the dc plug.

It is either going to be a dead battery or the logic board.
