Anyone know which board the power adapter plug is attached to? Is it the main logic board or a sub-board? Now that I think about it, my dead Pismo is a little wiggly in that area. I sure would hate to have to replace a whole Logic board just for that.

It plugs in the sound card, then it goes to to the power supply board, I was able to resolder the connection at the plug and all has been well for a few years, it takes a fine tip, low wattage soldering iron, and of course you have to remove the board to do the repair! Good luck!
