Does anyone have any tips on how to fix the ram slot, if one of the hinges that holds the ram has broken. I used a bit too much force while trying to take it out... Doh !!!! I heard from else where that i need a new motherboard, does anyone perhaps have any idea on how/where one can get this repaired at a reasonable price?
Your only option is to replace the logic board. You could try to jimmy rig it so that the chip is held down (electrical tape or some other solution) ...that may work as long as the chip stays in one position...
