For some reason as it was only used with care, the adaptor plug broke off leaving a piece in the machine and the technician tells me that I have to replace the entire logic board as well as the adaptor plug which is really expensive. I am looking for a used but working logic board at a reasonable cost and also new adaptor plug, The laptop was bought in 2002 and has the fllowing specifications

G4 667Mgh 15.2" /512 MB/30GB/Combo/FW/56k/Airport.

This is what is written on the bill. I am a bit of a technoilliterate so can-t give more info than this.

The model serie number is SQT20513DLY1.

The computer kept on working till the battery ran down - unfortunately no way of recharging battery - so the computer is unusable without replacing the whole board.

Any advice would be more than welcome
