Post subject: powerbook alum 15" airport antenna cable Posted: Mon Dec 20, 2004 11:21 am |

I just got my order for a replacement airport antenna cable to repair one that got broken during an install and was wondering why it is two inches shorter than the one that came with my powerbook and if there is a different way of installing it since it won't fit around through the same area as the previous cable. It's too short to go that far. I really need my airport to work and its getting very frustrating to take apart my powerbook to replace the part only to find that the part isn't the same and having to put it back together again without fixing the problem.

The problem should have been corrected. The 17" antenna is about 2" smaller than the 15", and the 15" and 17" cables aren't compatible.
