 Post subject: Can Logic Board corrupt LCD display?

I have a G4 550mHz Powerbook that had a dead monitor. I replaced the monitor with a used monitor from a PB 400 from eBay -- now that one died after only 2 weeks -- is there something else awry here or did I just get a dud used monitor? I'm worried it's the logic board or some other issue.

Anytbody have any thoughts on this?
