Back from the dead!
Problem: My Pismo's Lithium battery has been dead for a couple years now.
Over the past summer, I finally shelved my Pismo since I bought myself
a Dual PMG4.
A recent trip required the portability of my Pismo...so I decided to dust off
the 'ol laptop and guess what:
It won't boot up, nothing. Nada. Completely dead.
It wasn't the power supply, since I recently bought a brand new one. Over the
course of four years, I went through three power supplies, since the cable
was insanely flimsy.
Solution: I finally figured it out, by popping open the keyboard, right there you
see the Lithium battery.

I simply remouved this dead battery and PRESTO, IT'S ALIVE!!!
Now I have no excuse but to order a new PRAM battery.
Still though, I was actually thinking of selling/chucking this dead Pismo.
Glad I didn't.

P.S.
This is the very first thing I wrote with my newly reborn Pismo! I'd like to thank this site for giving me the ideas/inspiration to give my Pismo 'one last look' before I posted it as a dead unit on eBay!
