 Post subject: PowerBook 1400 CD Problem

The CD Drive on my PB 1400c just stopped functioning one fine day, was working fine!
Whenever I put a CD in, the status light upfront flashes, the CD Spins but NEVER MOUNTS!!! I finally have to eject the CD.
Happens for all CDs and also System CDs don't work (while starting the computer with the C key pressed)
