Post subject: 3400c powerbook power port loose
PostPosted: Sun Feb 01, 2004 1:33 pm
My 3400c (great condition except for this) will not run from AC unless the plug is held 'just so'. The power port is loose and wiggles a little. This seemed to happen without warning.
Is it too much trouble to repair this? Too hard?
Thanks for any and all feedback.

Hey, I thought I heard someplace online that you can put little pieces of wood, like toothpicks between the metal port on each side to prevent the metal from moving around. I am not positive about this, but I'm pretty sure it would work anyway. It might not look the greatest, but it keeps it working. I hope this helped.
