powerbook 100

Morning all

I have 2 old powerbook 100 that I found when I moved . Both were working when I put them away years ago . When I try to turn them on I hear the hard drive spin up and click like it trying to boot but never does . I have tried different drives, replacing the all the batteries, resetting the pram.
All with no results . They both boot up if I use the external floppy and a disk utilities disk . I tried to format the disk but it is never found by the utilities.

What should I tey next , or should I just give up . Dont really want to do that though .

Joe,

Hate to say it, but unless you've got sentimental value with these unit, I'd give up. These units are next to worthless these days except as conversation pieces. If you have to get it up and running, I'd search for a complete working one to come up on eBay and purchase it.
