I have a powerbok 3400c. The hinge "clutches" are broken and now there is no "friction" when I open/close the lid. I have to prop it against something when I want to use it. Any idea on how I can get this fixed and the cost, or should I just search eBay for a new 'book?

You can find the parts on eBay most likely. We currently aren't servicing those units, but me may in the upcoming months.
