 Post subject: Can an older Power Book G3-the Pismo(Firewire) uses ATA HD?

If I am not mistaken the G3 Pismo uses IDE hard drive. If so can I swap it with another hard drive but a ATA one. I am very green ith this topic. I don't know what are the differences between an IDE and ATA. Thanks for your help.

All powerbooks to this point can use ATA-6 drives (what we sell at our online store at the link below) They can not use SATA drives.
