I have a titanium powerbook G4. The computer works fine with the battery but the computer shuts down when the power cord is plugged in. Any idea what might be the problem?

The problem is likely going to be your logic board. If you are running a DVI model, then possibly your DC-IN board, from the problem you're having though it sounds like you've got a pre-DVI model and therefore need to replace the logic board.
