 Post subject: Powerbook 3400c Keyboard problem

For the first 15 minutes or more after a boot or wake from sleep the colum of keys: "9", "O" (oh, not zero), "L" , and "period" keys do not work. They eventually do work.

I've had the same thing! Exact same keys. Mine have stopped working completely, though.

check and see if your CMOS battery is leaking. sometimes they do that and short things out on the mobo

It's likely a keyboard issue, and replacement of the keyboard will usually fix it. Otherwise, you'll need to replace the logic board.
