Hi there!

I am new here and hope to find an answer to a burning question I have:

I currently own a Titanium Powerbook G4 500 MHz. Awhile ago, I had to get the display replaced, since the old one was defect.

I am very happy with the PB and with the new display I guess it will serve me good for some time to go. But with 500 MHz, the PB is not really fast enough for some programs and games.

I am reluctant to sell the PB, since I guess I will not get to much for it, given it´s age.

Is there a way to upgrade the motherboard? Say, if a Motherboard is 700 US or so, it could payoff.

Any input on this would be greatly appreciated!
