 Post subject: powerbook doesn't charge after water damage

i spilled some hot tea on a 800mhz powerbook that was on sleep mode, on the upper right side of the keyboard. it turned off, i pulled the battery, and proceeded to dry it as soon as i could. while i was cleaning, i was hitting the reset button for the pmu (didn't know what that button did at the time). now it doesn't recognize the ac adapter (but turns on and functions fine).

also, i just noticed some white residue around a small chip near the reset button, from the water i assume?


any idea what could be wrong?
