 Post subject: Touchpad Button Broken

I opened my laptop to take it out of sleep, and as I was using the touchpad, I realized the button would no longer work. It feels like it has become recessed inward a little bit, and it no longer clicks like it used to. How can I fix this? I would appreciate your help...this Mac is my livelihood.
