Dead PB G4 400MHz

After sitting for several months in the closet my TiBook is dead to the world. Battery show no LEDs. Left it charging for several days to no avail.

Worked fine previously...um except that the screen is hosed..I would love to fix this up.

Could it be the PRAM battery?

I'm wondering if I might be having the same issue.

The PB G4 500Mhz I've got has been sitting for a LONG time, (at least several months.)

But I'd think that it would at least boot up off the AC power, but mine doesn't.

g4 powerbook doesn't boot up. is this an electrical problem or what? is it worth fixing? where can I send it?

After a unit has been sitting for a long time, the PRAM battery usually goes dead, and this can cause boot issues. I'd check that and the PMU board first. As for the question about sending your unit in, our repair center link is below:

I am having the same issue. Might you have a link for PMU reset or PRAM battery repacement?

there's one for the older and newer models. make sure you pick the correct one.
