Post subject: change G4 - 400 Titanium motherboard for a faster one? Posted: Thu Nov 06, 2003 2:47 am |

I know from all dealers it cannot be done, but why exactly not? If I could I would like to turn my Titanium g4 400 Mhz into a 667 or faster, outside a Beetle, but inside Ferrari, so to speak.
Thanks for any explanation.

You can upgrade to a 500mhz board if you have a 400...the laptops weer done in serives....400/500 and then 550/667, and then the DVI models. You have to follow your series because the internal components are different for each model, and you can not just replace the logic board.
