Is it safe to use a PC USB Disk Drive with my PBG4, it seems to work when I plug it in the usb port, but it's kind of sloooww... I just wonder that if I continue using it might cause harm to my logic board..

It shouldn't do any harm...a lot of pc usb devices are usable with a mac as well.
