Post subject:  spanning screens wih a non apple flat lcd monitor

Hi All,

First post here..thanks in advance for your replies.

I have a 667 ti and I want to hook up my BenQ flat 17" LCD Monitor that I had on my PC. I hooked it up and went through the monitor settings and I can get the mirroring to work but I don't want mirroring I want to span the screens so I do some Final Cut Pro video editing. I have my flat 17" LCD plugged directly into the vga port of the powerbook.

So in short..how do I use my 17" Flat Panel to work with my powerbook to do screen spannig?

Thanks again in advance for your replies

Chuck
