Post subject: SuperDrive keeps ejecting discs...  Posted: Thu Sep 18, 2003 4:06 pm |

My superdrive consistently ejects disc media (whether it be cd, cd-r, dvd-r) and i don't know why. Sometime it i have to insert it 5 or 6 times before it mounts the cd on my desktop. This can't be normal, can it?

It sounds like the drive has bitten the dust. We should be stocking the part by the end of the week if you decide to replace it.
