when i plug in my 64w adapter to g4 powerbook a red light comes on the back and it doesn't turning on. I use to uses the old yoyo adapter and that use to work, nottin looks wrong enteral, could it be the battery???

The red light normally means that something isn't properly connected to your logic board or that your logic board has failed. However you may want to try another adapter before you delve into that repair.
