I have a G4 800. The hinges are broken. I want to order them from your store. Are they the same as the 500 etc. Your store doesn't show a parts category for the 800's. I also need the screen housing. Do you carry just the screen housing? I found one on another site, but would really like to order everything from one place.

The hinges are the same for the 800mhz as well, so yes they'll work. We currently does sell the display housings, but you should be able to pick up a broken screen on eBay relatively cheap. Which other site had the dispay casing? You need to try to get a casing from the 800 model.

I saw it on http://www.powerbooktech.com. It says for 400-667mhz g4's. So it is not the same as the 800mhz?

So you do sell the display housing for the 800mhz? You answer is a little unclear. If so, how much is it? Is it in the on-line store? I would like to get everything at once.

A lot of customers haven't had pleasant experiences with Powerbooktech, including myself. I'd be weary of buying from them. The 800mhz model does use a different display casing. We don't sell the part as of now.

Thanks for the quick reply and the info in Powerbooktech. They haven't responded to my e-mails so I am going to stay away from them.
